The Hide

wetland&hide2.jpg (66384 bytes)
Situated at the western edge of the Wetland area, the Hide is an ideal location to view secretive wildlife in the Wetland.  Kingfisher, Moorhen and Mallard have all been filmed from here by patient observers.  Like the Log Cabin, the Hide was constructed using timber grown in conifer plantations on the reserve. Learn more about kingfishers and watch a movie clip taken from the hide of a kingfisher feeding its young.
