Willow

wpe1.jpg (12753 bytes)

The plants in the wetland all provide food and shelter for a great variety of animals, but Willow is the most sought after of all.

Over 400 different kinds of invertebrates (minibeasts) feed on them and these in their turn provide food for a great many predators. These include insects such as adult dragonflies and a whole variety of small birds such as Warblers, various different kinds of Tits and Spotted Flycatchers.
